For a good, long while, many people believed that tablet technology was on its way out. After all, tablets have – in various different incarnations – been around for years, yet they never seemed to fully take off on the market. Today, it is believed that Apple’s iPad may have saved the technology, ushering in a whole new era for tablets. The iPad has been met with a surprising amount of acclaim, and has so far been quite a success for Apple.
Experts believe that, due to the success of the iPad, other technology giants such as Microsoft and Sony will be bringing new, advanced tablets to the market in the near future. One thing is for sure – this dying technology is currently enjoying a revival like no other.
